I am so excited about this weekend I just had to share. I will be at the capital here in Columbia on Friday for the SC Law Enforcement Torch Run. Officers from all over the state will be running in the torch for Special Olympics. They will pass off to different officers through out the state. I will help serve them lunch at the capitol. Then I will head over to Ft. Jackson for the opening ceremonies at night. They have a military police SGT at the fort waiting for me there. (and no he is not arresting me). Then on Saturday I will be at the Fort for our summer games for Special Olympics. This is my first time to go and I can hardly wait to see the kids competing. They will have the track and field events, bowling, swimming, softball games and I can’t remember them all. The kids stay on post with their parents and coaches at Fort Jackson barracks. I am taking my camera. Hope to have some good pictures to post. Bobbiegale
