Just got the word that we have a new driving job. MW and I will be leaving for MN this coming Monday to get back on the road. Will be a bit busy for a while getting back into driving but can't wait to start.While we have had a great time at home, there are only so many things a person can do to stay occupied. We will be driving for Waletich Transportation in Kasota, MN. Will try to keep in touch with everyone as much as possible. Take care and be safe out there. t6

Well,my back surgery was completed on 2/19 and I am up and moving.I seem to be getting around better now and am walking almost a mile a day.Doc wants to see me at the 30 day mark to evaluate how much longer I will be off from work. I plan to be on the road within 45 days if Doc agrees.Can't wait to be back behind the wheel and on the road. Thanks to all of you out there who sent cards and called to check on me. Life would be pretty dull without friends like you all have been. Will end this blog and get back online with you all. Thanks again.

Just got the word from the VA that I see the surgeon in Memphis on the 16th. About time. Have been waiting,not so patiently, for about 3 months so I am more than ready to get this over with so Mystery Woman and I can get back on the road where we belong. I don't think I am cut out for home life.There are only so many things you can do around the house before start climbing the walls. In any event,the time off has given us a chance to meet lots of great people here at MTS and for me to get the baking bug out of my system for a while. Have all 4 computers up and running now so I can be reached most of the time. After surgery, I expect to be down for a few weeks but then will be back on the road. More info as I have it.

Looks like I will be going to surgery in Jan instead of Dec. Not a problem here as I have time to be with family and with fuel prices where they are,it's just as well. I haven't had much time lately to devote to this page but plan to be more active soon. Just about out of the baking mood for a while but have a cupboard full of cookies and fudge.Happy Holidays to all out there.Be good,Be safe,Be kind......

Just got the word from my neuro doc.He plans to do back surgery before christmas.I have been baking and trying to get into the holiday spirit.It helps to have a hobby (baking).Btw,if anyone out there has a new baking recipe to share,please send it to me.I'm running out of ideas..I will probably gain another 20 pounds before the holidays are over.Not a problem as I only weigh 145 but have to get new cloths.Bonnie loves the time off as I love to do the cooking when we are off the road. Sure want to get over this back problem so I can get back on the road.Bonnie and I love being on the road and meeting new friends. More later, T6seal

I'm just getting started with the page so bear with me.I have a bit of down time as i injured my back on the road so I am taking some time off to rest.Pretty new to the web site set up and don't have as much time as i would like to devote to it but will do my best.Most of our pics from the road are HUGE (about 2 meg each) so I have to reduce them first.
